AEP structure
AEP members are any individuals or organisations concerned with activities related to grain legumes who have paid the requisite fee for the current year. The current membership is about 200 members from 35 different countries (80% from the EU).
The representatives are the members of the AEP Scientific Committee (elected members of AEP, currently 15) who deal with the scientific content of AEP activities, with its evaluation and its trends.
AEP is managed by a Executive Committee (elected members, currently 5 members) with the administrative help of the Executive Secretariat (currently 0.5 person).

To facilitate the identification of members' expertise, AEP is organised into seven sections from genetics to end-uses (No.1 to No.7) . However multidisciplinarity is the key word for AEP activities and there is no boundaries between the different sections.

AEP sections
The AEP section only aims at identifying the main area of the member's activities (without restriction in the AEP activities, except for delegate elections).
1: Genetics
2: Plant and crop physiology (including symbiosis)
3: Plant health
4: Biochemistry of plant
5: Nutrition, feed and food
6: Market and agro-industry
7: Agroecology (crop systems and environnement)
