To meet its objectives of networking (favour the exchange of information and facilitate multidisciplinary and inter-sectorial collaborations), AEP:

>  organises Scientific Conferences every three  years (Lisbon 2007 to come, Dijon 2004, Cracow 2001, Valladolid 1998, Copenhagen 1995, Angers 1992);

>  organises thematic workshops;

>  publishes a quarterly magazine, Grain Legumes, to disseminate information related to both research and market needs;

>  provides information for people who target European Union R&D framework programmes and other sources of research funding;

> coordinates some concerted activities;

>  contributes to the establishment of GL-TTP, the Grain Legume Technology Transfer Platform: GL-TTP specifically ensures the transfer of knowledge into innovative applications for the benefit of GL-TTP membership composed of both scientists and economic actors.
